Peperina was established in 2012 by Diego Cabrera, a native of Argentina. Diego has lived in Ireland for over 20 years. Diego has not just a passion for food but an instinct in creating the perfect dish.

Peperina derives its name from a wild mint native to Cordoba, Argentina. “The Peperina Mint (Minthostachys verticillata), is an aromatic wild plant that grows in northwestern and central Argentina, on the hills and sierras of Cordoba and San Luis. The leaves are often used to prepare infusions, especially dried and added to the popular Argentinian “mate”. It is also known for its medicinal properties used as an anti-inflammatory as well as for its essential oils”.
